About Pre OT & PT Association at UT Dallas
Our Mission
Our student-led organization aims to address the academic and pre-professional aspects of preparation for Pre-OT and Pre-PT students during their undergraduate training at UTD. We facilitate a community of Occupational and/or Physical Therapy interested students. Overall, we are dedicated to preparing students for their future careers and for graduate school through volunteering, fundraising, application information, shadowing and tech job connections, guest speakers, and leadership opportunities.
Our Approach
We reach out to graduate students currently in the programs, admissions officers, and professionals in the fields. We bring these individuals to speak about their experiences to our membership. These efforts to bring networking opportunities to our membership allow them to meet many faces in their fields.
